racing bloodlines that can go on to excel in barrel racing, roping,
reining, and cow horse events. Our stallion is Smokes
Remedy - 2002 APHA Bay Tovero. “Ace” has
it all... Color, conformation, athletic ability, cow sense and
a pedigree to back it up. "Ace" is an own son of Smokes
Dude (NRCHA Supreme Reined Cowhorse, APHA World Champion Cowhorse)
and out of Destined to Power (ROM's in Heading and Heeling and
placed 5th and 6th at the 1998 World Show in those same events).
Ace has APHA points in barrel racing, pole bending, reining,
western pleasure and trail. He was the 2007 Canadian Western Horse
Association (CWHA) Senior Pole Bending Champion and Senior Reserve
Barrel Racing Champion and Senior Reserve Champion Hi-Point Horse.
In 2008 he was the Senior Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and Keyhole
Champion as well as Senior Hi-Point Horse. He is running 1D/2D
barrel times depending on time split between the D’s. He
placed 8th in the 2D at the 2008 MBRA Finals. He made it to the
Short Go of the 2008 Todd Stiles Memorial Race. He started off
2009 strong winning the 2D in both go’s at the Royal Manitoba
Winter Fair.
He is extremely athletic with a playful easygoing temperament.
Western and English riders alike comment on his beautiful movement.
He offers top-notch performance APHA bloodlines in Manitoba in
a very eye catching package! His first foal crop of 2007 is just
starting their under-saddle training and things are looking very
promising. His oldest yearling filly went Grand Champion Halter
mare at the Paint show in Manitoba last year. (Watch for her at
this year’s 50/50) All his foals have incredibly sweet personalities,
great conformation and he has passed on his pretty head to each
of them. He is throwing a lot of color on his babies, even out
of solid mares.
